Every entrepreneur has a story. Some begin with an idea, while others begin with a purpose. The story of K. V. Rama Subba Reddy is one of courage, conviction, and an unwavering commitment to transforming the way India eats.
Born in the small village of Jillella in the Banaganapalle Mandal of Andhra Pradesh, Rama Subba Reddy grew up in a farming family where agriculture was not merely a profession but a way of life. Witnessing the challenges faced by farmers from an early age instilled in him a deep respect for agriculture and a lifelong desire to create meaningful change.
Armed with an MBA and professional qualifications in Cost and Management Accounting, he spent nearly three decades building a successful corporate career, serving in senior finance leadership roles with Indian multinational companies in New Delhi. His analytical skills, strategic thinking, and financial expertise earned him recognition in the corporate world. Yet, despite professional success, his heart remained connected to his roots and to the farming community.
Driven by this vision, he made a life-changing decision. Leaving behind a secure corporate career, he returned to his native village and embarked on a mission to build an integrated millet enterprise.
This vision gave birth to Mibbles Food Products Pvt. Ltd., a company built on the philosophy of creating nutritious, clean-label, millet-based foods while supporting farmers across the value chain. Under his leadership, Mibbles established an integrated ecosystem encompassing seed production, cultivation support, primary processing, advanced manufacturing, value-added food products, branding, and market development.
Today, Mibbles collaborates with farmers, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and institutional partners to create sustainable livelihoods while delivering innovative millet foods to consumers. The company offers a wide range of products including ready-to-cook mixes, healthy snacks, bakery products, functional foods, millet beverages, and nutritional blends that combine traditional wisdom with modern convenience.
His work extends far beyond entrepreneurship. He has emerged as a national advocate for millets, conducting awareness programs, engaging with policymakers, collaborating with research institutions, and promoting sustainable food systems. His efforts have earned appreciation from national institutions, and he has been recognized as a "Millet Star" for his contributions to promoting millet cultivation and consumption.
His work also received national attention when it was mentioned by the Honorable Prime Minister during a radio address highlighting India's millet movement in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’. He was also featured in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Coffee Table Book launched on completion of 100 episodes of the program.
His journey from the corporate world to the millet movement is a powerful reminder that true success lies not only in personal achievement but in creating lasting impact for society.
"From Finance to Farming, From Numbers to Nutrition, From Corporate Success to National Service— this is the inspiring journey of K. V. Rama Subba Reddy."

Every Mibbles story begins with the soil—and with the people who lovingly nurture it.
Behind every grain of millet is a farmer who understands the land, respects its rhythms, and carries forward a tradition built on knowledge, patience, and dedication. Their hands sow the seeds, nurture the crops, and help bring nature’s goodness to families everywhere.
At Mibbles, we believe that food is more than what reaches our table. It is a connection between the land, the farmer, and the family. That is why we work to bring the wholesome goodness of millets from farms to homes in convenient, nourishing, and delicious forms.
Guided by Rama Subba Reddy’s vision, Mibbles is building a meaningful bridge between farmers and consumers—celebrating traditional grains while creating a healthier future for generations to come.
From their farms to your table, every Mibbles product carries a story of care, purpose, and goodness.

Under the leadership of Managing Director Rama Subha Reddy, Mibbles is building a community-focused initiative centred on farmer empowerment, women’s participation, rural employment, and greater awareness of the nutritional value of millets.
Recognizing the potential of millets as both a nutritious traditional grain and an opportunity for sustainable rural development, Mibbles works to connect farmers and communities with the knowledge, resources, and opportunities needed to bring millets from the field to the table.
Rama Subha Reddy has worked with thousands of farmers, encouraging them to embrace millet cultivation and supporting them in adopting improved agricultural practices.
His approach extends beyond supplying millet seeds. Farmers are also supported with practical guidance on sustainable cultivation, harvesting, and post-harvest management, helping them strengthen their farming practices, improve the quality and value of their produce, and work toward better livelihoods.
By promoting millet cultivation and value addition, Mibbles seeks to create opportunities for farmers while contributing to the revival and wider adoption of traditional, climate-resilient food crops.
As part of its commitment to rural economic development, Mibbles has established two millet processing and value-added product units in the Nandyal region.
These facilities create opportunities to process millets closer to their source while generating local employment. A particular focus is placed on women’s participation, with an objective of achieving approximately 50% women’s representation in the workforce.
This approach aims to provide women with opportunities to develop skills, earn an income, build confidence, and participate more actively in the local economy.
Mibbles is also initiating a community awareness programme across rural and urban communities to promote greater understanding and consumption of millets.
Through outreach, education, and knowledge-sharing, the programme seeks to highlight the nutritional value and versatility of millets and demonstrate how traditional grains can be incorporated into modern, everyday diets.
Mibbles’ community programme brings together farmers, women, food innovation, nutrition, and rural enterprise around a common purpose.
Under Rama Subha Reddy’s leadership, the initiative seeks to create an ecosystem in which farmers can access knowledge and markets, rural communities can benefit from employment opportunities, women can participate more actively in economic activities, and consumers can rediscover the nutritional and culinary potential of traditional millets.
The vision is not simply to promote a grain, but to create a sustainable value chain that generates opportunity from farm to family.
Our journey at Mibbles is driven by a commitment to quality, innovation and healthier food choices. These recognitions reflect the trust we have earned through our products, processes and dedication to building a better millet-based food ecosystem.
